Paphos Bird
Park
This unique and pioneering
project is said to be the number 1-tourist attraction in Cyprus.
The park is committed to the conservation and breeding of all the
Birds and animals that you see. Features include Aquarium; Penguin
Land, covered amphitheatre for bird shows and cultural events,
indoor cinema for information and documentaries on nature. The
species of birds include exotic parrots, hornbills, toucans, owls,
peacock, eagles, pheasants, waterfowl and animals such as
antelopes, giant tortoises, deers, gazelles

Baths of
Aphrodite
The town of Polis overlooks the beautiful Chrysochou Bay where the
quaint fishing village of Latchi is situated. Close by are the
famous Baths of Aphrodite with their exhilarating view over the
bay.
According to legend the baths are where Aphrodite took her beauty
baths in a pool of a natural grotto shaded by a fig tree. In
ancient times people believed that visiting the baths and bathing
in their waters would aid their fertility.The Fontana Amorosa (
Fountain of Love) is nearby.
